Civil/Structural Engineer
Engineer, LGE-CSE-05.
Job Description:
The Civil/Structural Engineer shall be familiar with overall Civil/Structural departmental activities and shall be responsible for the role listed below in line with COMPANY’s project requirements:
Responsilbilities:
- Responsible for supervising, coordinating, advising rendering technical support to Civil/Structural Engineering/Design group considering the project requirements.
- Candidates shall have experience in Civil and structural design of sub-structure and super structure, pipe racks, pipe sleepers.
- Shall be able to design, detail and prepare bill of quantities for various Concrete and Steel structures.
- Should be conversant with STAAD Pro /SACS software & other similar analysis packages and international design codes.
- Shall have the awareness of 3D Modeling and review packages like Smart plan Review, Naviswork, Review Reality etc.
- Shall be familiar with cost effective and optimized solutions to optimize fabrication cost as well as weight control in design.
- Shall be familiar with producing and reviewing civil composite drawings.
- To produce Design basis, Design calculation and Reports. Vendor drawings review for necessary inputs of Civil and Structural design.
- To initiate internal workshops, thru 3D Model reviews, during the course of Project(s) to ensure optimum performance is achieved as per the required Technical specifications and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- This is a specialist with a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Masters in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Total 5-9 years Working experience in lead role in a consultancy background is essential for this position. Candidate shall have knowledge of Civil/Structural designs of various plants including modular designs.
- Exposure to offshore platforms Top side and jackets and various analysis like In-place, transportation, lifting etc will be an added advantage and shall be able to visualize the architectural requirement while designing.
- Candidate shall have detail and sound detailed engineering judgment, shall be enthused by the opportunity to work with minimal supervision in office in Pune, India and abroad on Project specific locations.
- Shall have Understanding of the fundamental requirements and shall be able to co ordinate with other disciplines.
- Shall have worked on project involving multidisciplinary environment and shall also be familiar with UG facilities.
- The candidate should be quality-conscious, with a strong commitment to getting the job done right the first time.
